Mixing- Master Channel Compression

Once I recorded all of the midi files, and created their own sound, I then started to balance each channel to balance the levels within the track.
Once I was happy with the balance of the track, As a safe measure to ensure that the track is at a suitable volume, I added a Limiter compressor on the master track. I then reduced the Input gain -3.0 dB to ensure that the track stays loud without digitally distorting.

Sampler Instrument
The sampler instrument itself was individual samples of a guitar that we recorded in groups. I decided that instead of using this to mimic the recording of a realistic guitar, I wanted creatively use the plugin to sound like another synth.

In the photo below, you can see that I've turned on 'Reverse' In the sampler instrument, and the sustain mode is configured to not repeat the sample whilst holding the key.

I also intended to have each sample to have a different duration from one another. So when the note is struck and finished, each sample will finish at a different time, giving it a 'swooping' motion
